Santa bringing gifts to autistic kids at Phoenix ASA Holiday party, 12/9
Tuesday, November 28th, 2006Santa will be at our Holiday party this year, and will give a small gift to each child who comes. Please RSVP so we know how many children to expect. Everyone in the autism community is welcome to attend the Holiday Party of the ASA-Greater Phoenix Chapter!
CHILDREN ARE WELCOME THIS YEAR - WE WILL HAVE A BOUNCER AND BACKYARD FOR THEM TO PLAY IN, GIFTS TO OPEN, AND A FEW RESPITE PROVIDERS - please RSVP so we know how many children to expect.
Location: home of Joanne Markis and John Dyster, 112 E. Myrna Lane in Tempe, 85284.
6:00pm – Potluck Dinner
7:30pm – Gift Exchange
For the dinner, we request the following items:
A-G: main dishes
H-M: vegetables/salads
N-R: appetizers
S-Z: desserts
The chapter will provide non-alcoholic drinks, a Heavenly Ham, plates, utensils, etc. Please RSVP to Shelly at (480) 940-1093 or at shellyatphxautism@cox.net
For the gift exchange, please bring a gift for a person of your gender, and label it “Woman” or “Man”. Gifts are typically in the range of $8-$12. Chapter members are asked to bring the gifts, but anyone on the spectrum and anyone helping people on the spectrum (teachers, therapists, etc.) does not need to bring one - we will have them for you if you RSVP.
Gifts will be provided for children to open, but they will not be part of the gift exchange.
THE PARTY IS OPEN TO ANYONE IN THE AUTISM COMMUNITY, INCLUDING CHAPTER MEMBERS, FRIENDS,PEOPLE ON THE SPECTRUM, TEACHERS, THERAPISTS, AND ANYONE ELSE HELPING CHILDREN/ADULTS WITH AUTISM.
