Zoo Walk for Autism Research - 9/29

6:45 am Registration Begins

9:00 am Walk Ends

Walkers can stay at the zoo the entire day!

Have a fun time strolling around the zoo with your family and friends, seeing lions, tigers, giraffes, elephants, monkeys, bears, tortoises, and more!

The Phoenix Zoo is located at 455 N. Galvin Parkway in Papago Park in Phoenix. 

Parking:  Free parking is available at the Zoo. Due to large turnout, carpooling is advised if possible.

Meeting to collaborate and coordinate activities - 10/16

Monday, September 10th, 2007

The ASA-Greater Phoenix Chapter is inviting representatives of all
autism support groups (parents, fathers, grandparents, teens/adults
on the spectrum, etc.) in greater Phoenix to a friendly meeting to
discuss how we could work together more closely and effectively.

The meeting will be on Sunday, Sept 16, 2-4 pm at the Coco’s
restaurant in north Scottsdale, at Paradise Valley Mall

Appetizers and drinks will be provided. We hope you can join us for a

Our monthly support meetings

Our meeting format will stay the same, with a breakout session for new parents and national and/or local speakers during the main session.

The ASA-GPC will be providing light refreshments during the meetings. Parents may order their own dinners from the restaurant menu if they so choose, but there is no requirement to do so. The general public is always invited to attend and there is no admission charge.

Unfortunately, due to the change in location, we will no longer be able to provide childcare at our chapter meetings. We would like to thank The Loden Group, Betsy Strong, Aubrey Warner and Hallie Jones for providing childcare at our past meetings.
