Behavior Analysts, Inc. has partnered with the H.O.P.E. Group LLC to provide this training opportunity to educators, parents and other practitioners in Arizona on December 10th-12th, 2007 at the Mesa Convention Center. Dr. James Partington will be presenting a 3-day comprehensive series on teaching children with autism.
This training is designed to cover all aspects of teaching skills using verbal behavior methodology in the school and home settings. Participants will learn strategies for teaching children with autism using the methodology of ABA with Skinner’s analysis of verbal behavior. Information regarding program development utilizing The ABLLS-R, natural environment teaching, and solving challenging behaviors will also be presented.

Dr. James Partington, Ph.D., BCBA, owner of Behavior Analysts Inc. and the STARS School in Pleasant Hill, California is a licensed psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst with more than 35 years of experience. He is the co-author of Teaching Language to Children with Autism or Other Developmental Disabilities and author of the revised edition of The Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills- Revised (ABLLS-R) and Web-ABLLS. Dr. Partington also provides extensive training opportunities, consultation services, workshops, STARS model classrooms and clinical services for children and families. The workshops he presents are based on his research and findings, within the field of applied behavior analysis, utilizing the conceptual framework of verbal behavior as developed by BF Skinner in 1957. Parents, families, early intervention programs, preschool programs and school districts benefit from his trainings across the country and abroad.
