Please attend an urgent autism community meeting on December 5 from 6-8 PM.
This informational meeting will provide an overview of the drafted Arizona Autism Insurance Bill and provide an opportunity for the autism community to formulate a strategy. This draft bill would require some private insurance coverage for individuals diagnosed with Autistic Disorder, Asperger’s Syndrome and Pervasive Developmental Disorder – Not Otherwise Specified.

- 6:15-7:00 Tim Schmaltz, Coordinator/CEO of Protecting Arizona ’s Family Coalition (PAFCO) will be presenting on the Do’s and Don’ts of advocacy (i.e. how to contact your local government representatives, letter-writing, etc.)
- 7:00-8:00 Update on insurance bill, Arizona bill provisions, strategy, next steps
