ASA & AMC Sensory Friendly Films: IGOR — 9/20

AMC Entertainment (AMC) and ASA have teamed up to begin testing a pilot program to bring families affected by autism a special opportunity to enjoy their favorite films in a safe and accepting environment on a monthly basis.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased on the day of the event. The showings are at AMC Deer Valley 30 in Phoenix and AMC Mesa Grand 24 in Mesa. More information or the details go to:

New Biomedical Support Group meeting — 9/9

ABC is an East Valley support group for parents who are using or are interested in learning more about biomedical interventions for Autism Spectrum Disorders. Meetings will include information to reduce toxins, address GI function and improve the nutrition and health of children with autism. Come and share resources, recipes and research updates. This group promotes learning and discussion of improving children’s outcomes. We exist to share options with parents and we desire to establish a supportive community for parents using any type of biomedical interventions.
