Autism-related Events

The meeting begins at 6:30pm and we have 3 speakers in August…

One will be Lisa Madigan who specializes in NAET. She will speak about allergies and how to help deal with them.

Another speaker will speak on the following: LifeBridges exists to meet the needs of high functioning adults with ASD and their families. The goal is to facilitate greater independence by offering daily living skills assistance, respite, incidental transportation, and adult habilitation provided by staff specifically trained to assist those with Autism and Asperger’s. Employment assistance is something we are also looking into. Habilitation programs are currently being written by behaviorists with experience with ASD and are designed to fit the needs of adults.

Additionally, Susan Sunseri a parent, will talk for a few minutes about my experience with CARD.

I encourage all to come. Please spread the word and invite others who you think might be interested in attending our meetings.

Arizona Autism United (formerly known as GALA Human Service Co-op) is offering an ABA training course available to all habilitators of children with autism. This is a **PAID** TRAINING and is open to ALL HABILITATORS in Arizona! We offer this training every month.
