Reminder: This Tuesday is our monthly meeting and everyone is welcome! I am so excited with our speakers this month. We have a great OT who is also a mom who will teach us all the tricks of the trade for Brain Gym. I love brain gym and there are several good books. However, an expert is $400 a hour. So I am really excited to have this opportunity to learn firsthand on how to use it. It is great for sensory integration and chiropractic neurology.

We also have another fabulous OT speaking on Berard AIT and will also give everyone a mini-Anat Baniel lesson. Both OT’s are so giving and want to share information to help parents. I love free or cheap and this is great for all who cannot afford experts. I am so thankful they are willing to donate their time. All are welcome!

7:30pm - Movie Showing: “Asperger’s Syndrome: A Guide from Surviving to Thriving”… the Phoenix premiere of a new DVD documentary produced by the Asperger Parent Network (APN) with a special introduction by Carolyn Warden, APN President.

This workshop is designed for professionals working with children with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) in a preschool or toddler program. The training will also include an overview of ASD characteristics, motivational strategies to support appropriate behavior, and a framework for incorporating instructional strategies into the classroom. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance for six hours of professional development.
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Place: SARRC
